I was extremely humbled to join Fast 101, founded by founder Doug Vanderhorden. After feeling stable with my own experiences, I felt it was time to give back to the community and share my story, some wisdom and hopefully some words of encouragement for healing and recovery. I believe that part of the silver lining in my story is to share my experience and insight, helping to spread awareness and advocate for other victims. Doug started this organization when he saw a need for direct supports and the lack of community knowledge. Advocacy & Spreading awareness is the primary goal of FAST 101. A campaign was started collecting donations and personal hygiene supplies to make up what is called1st response bags for victims. The hope s to have a steady supply of bags filled with products to help with transitioning from the street. 

I am no longer on the panel of advocates as I felt that my personal views didn't fair well in the political arena. I will always respect the efforts of all who work diligently to advocate for victims and serve the community through awareness. I wish the Fast 101 team much success in their efforts.
